TWENTY pieces of contemporary art have been placed around the Square Mile for Sculpture in the City 2016.
The striking installations include huge marrows, a cast iron seven metre tall bust next to the Gherkin and two giant masks on Bishopsgate at the corner of Leadenhall Street.
Sculpture in the City is presented as part of the City of London’s Cultural Strategy and is delivered in partnership with local developers and property owners.
The Smartify app, available on iPhone and Android smartphones, allows you to scan the sculptures to learn more about then. Paper maps with all the locations are available from the City of London Information Centre at St Paul’s Churchyard.
Guided tours of the sculptures will take place on September 17th as part of Open house London.
